All but a week after wine shop VIN opened on a pleasant, leafy corner of Xintiandi, another wine-bearing store of a more "local" nature has opened up. I randomly came across this place on Weihai Lu, situated between the Four Seasons and new classic French brasserie-cum-restaurant-cum-bar-come lounge Hugo. If you disregard the unfortunate name, Jointek Fine Wines, the lino floor beneath you and the plastic foliage/grapes tucked into wine box corners, this small store might just be a regular stop in time to come for those looking for a huge range of wines under 200rmb each.
