Basement club next to the Xujiahui metro station hosting DJs and live shows in one room and bar sports in the other. This was one of Shanghai's oldest bars and live rock venues. They first opened at Hongqiao Lu and Yili Lu in 1996, they moved to Xujiahui in 2006. For many years they hosted rock shows, but in 2016 they did heavy renovation and became more of a nightclub, before the new Elevator
took over the livehouse side in 2019, leaving Harley's to occupy the sports bar. Still has a full-sized pool table, several dart boards, and that sports bar vibe that feels a lot nicer than Windows or Perry's. Lots of regulars here, split between locals and expats. They've also got a kitchen serving up burgers, nachos, wings, and other bar food. The owner, Rambo, is a true old-school Shanghai rocker and a super nice guy. The cold draft beer gets a decent discount during happy hour. Lots of whiskeys on the menu as well, all priced reasonably.
