% Arabica got shut down 5 hours after it opened. No license. Haha. Hahahaha. Pure & Whole Kiosk in Reel Mall closed up after only a couple months. Diva is closed. It wasn't a fight between gangsters. It's "organizational restructuring." Reopen after some remodeling.

The Word Around Town

Elefante closed, and is going to be replaced by something called Ekeko. Named after a Peruvian trickster god, it looks like new owners FULU Group are going for a fun-lovin' Latin vibe, which... uhm. Guess the redecoration won't take long? Mi nombre es Ekeko Also, new Madison Kitchen opened inside Bingo Plaza on Tianshan Lu. It's a pilot project with City Shop, to see if maybe it'd be a good idea to take over the restaurants in their supermarkets. This one's more of a proper restaurant. In addition to all the Madison Kitchen deli stuff, they've got "simple hot foods" and a wood burning oven for pan pizzas.
