It was going to happen anyway, but all the residents of the villa at 20 Donghu Lu have been suddenly closed, after a (suspicious?) kitchen fire in Ochobo over the weekend drew inspectors from the fire department. It's unclear who will re-open and who will just pack it up after this latest hiccup. As we wrote before, Sushi Oyama seems to be closing for good at the end of the year (Oyama-san off to Australia, the peanut gallery says); Ochobo will relocate to Taiyuan Lu and rename itself Kaiseki Ochobo; Racines is undecided; and Dao Jiang Hu is moving out to Tai'an Lu, with a planned opening date in December.
