Like the universe, SmartShanghai is ever expanding. (Also, black, mysterious and gaseous.) So! We have positions coming open for two native English speakers to join our Editorial team — and will consider an international move for one of the positions! — and a couple slots open for freelance photographers who are masters of event photography. Hit the jump to join our team!

The first Editorial position is for a Music and Ticketing Editor. For this one, we would like someone with a deep interest in the Arts (capital "A"), from classical music and contemporary dance to Top 40 pop (also an Art) and what's happening in the clubs. We will consider applications from anywhere, not just China, and then plug you into the infrastructure behind SmartTicket to do artist interviews, articles, Q&As and such. See more details here. For the second position, we are freeing up a place for a Listings Editor to wrangle with our 15,000 venue listings and become an expert on the city. See more details for that here. And finally, our Art Team is looking for a few good photographers with a taste for nightlife who want to do event photography and be out there in the clubs, showing us all what's going on after our bedtimes. For that, email our Art Director at juli@smartshanghai.com for details and rates.
