Brew & Blend takes over M50 from October 14-16, showing you the future and questioning your role in it.

UNDEF/NE and M50's Brew & Blend returns for its second year and this time around it's far more than a craft coffee/creative market. The festival is an interactive experience that takes you on a journey into the future, represented through 50 art projects -- the collaborations of 150 local and international artists -- scattered throughout the M50 art district. The projects include performance, workshops, future tech demos, games, videography, and more. They also have a music stage with live bands and DJs, a market with over 20 F&B vendors.

Brew & Blend uses a role playing game and color codes to aid in navigating through the festival. Each art piece will also feature a question in English and Chinese about a time in the future, regarding how certain types of technology will affect your attitudes. Your answers will lead you to other locations in M50 if you choose to follow them, but how far you participate is entirely up to you. The main purpose is to get you thinking and to get you talking.

Brew & Blend organizer Carmen Ho says, "it is about giving people a chance to discover things and have a dialogue about these things and make their own choices of how to take part in this experience, as well as what they take with them."
