... Another one offers up a new happy hour. Over at Handle Bar, the new bike-themed drinkerie on Yongkang Lu, they've launched a happy hour aimed squarely at the fixed-wheel community.
From now until the end of summer, all day, every day, they're offering buy-one-get-one-free draft beer and cocktails to anyone who rides to the bar on a fixie. Draft Stella is usually 40rmb a pull, Chimay is 50rmb and cocktails (margaritas, mojitos et al) are 70rmb. So, with the deal, fixed-wheelers are effectively looking at 20rmb Stellz and 35rmb cocktails all summer.
Drown your sorrows over the closure of Bikes & Friends, get pished and then have a wobbly ride home.
