Canadian Thanksgiving eh. That's indeed a holiday, which actually pre-dates the American version by about fifty years. With that in mind, we called around to see who's doing dinners on Monday and the rest of the week.
So, Kakadu and its sister restaurant Sweet & Sour; neither are Canadian, but the owner's wife is. Kakadu on Jianguo has a buffet dinner on Monday for 188rmb per person. That includes oven roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, roasted pork with apple sauce, baked barramundi, mashed potato and pumpkin, seasonal vegetables, macaroni and cheese, salads, breads, fresh fruit, and warm pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Sounds pretty damn good.
