Eddy Yang & Co. are probably due for a decent turn for a change: late-night industry stalwart Tailor Bar has closed down as the entirety of the legacy hotel they were in has been retaken by the government. Couldn't verify that, but it sounds like a familiar refrain. Tailor Bar had relocated to the Le Sun Chine lobby in late 2017 after they had to move out of their hidden fourth-floor location overlooking Jing'an Temple. After losing Above the Globe and shutting down Second Moment last year, they're down to zero spots in Shanghai. Yikes. They're looking for a new location. Meanwhile, if you're craving late-night cocktails, and want that special five-star touch, these guys are still going.
