The other Nanjing Xi Lu outpost of sports / dive bar empire Windows is turning four tonight. Kind of. They opened as "Windows Underground" maybe eight years ago, right around the time their failed live house experiment Windows Tembo closed. Then they rebranded as "Windows Garage" in 2012, for whatever reason. Hats off to Windows – twenty years in the game and doing just fine in this post-Perry's, post-90rmb cocktails era we're tumbling through.
Anyway they have some kind of free drinks tonight from 9-11pm. Indeed, that is 15-20rmb cheaper than usual. There is a store upstairs with a huge selection of imported cigarettes. Carl's Jr. is around the corner. Do what you will with that information.
