Toy Story Land Is Opening in April and Other Great Emails from Disneyland

Mar 21, 2018 | 17:41 Wed
Halt the presses, cowboy, direct message from the House of Mouse; Toy Story Land is completed and, following a period of testing and adjusting (known as a 'soft open' except they're not charging anyone because no one's allowed in yet), is set to open on April 26. To infinity and beyond! That's from the movie.

Top notch work from the Disney Resort PR team. They've been hitting us with updates on Toy Story Land for months. We've been getting emails like "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Installation Completed on Disney • Pixar Toy Story Land’s Two Tallest Icons" and "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Rex and Trixie Arrive at Disney•Pixar Toy Story Land in Shanghai Disneyland." We're more familiar with the state of Toy Story Land than how granda's surgery went. Here's the latest one;

Shanghai Disneyland’s seventh themed land, the new Disney•Pixar Toy Story Land, is set to open on the afternoon of April 26. With the installation of each attraction and icon completed and a period of testing and adjustment now underway, Woody, Jessie, Rex, Slinky Dog and all of their friends from Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story are in place, getting ready to welcome their first official guests to play in a world of fun and imagination.

Fantastic presser. Those guys, they do their best work when they've got something newsworthy to write about. We've been a little disappointed in their recent work, like "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Shanghai Disney Resort Promotes the Importance of Fire Safety with Engaging and Fun Events" and "FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Shanghai Disney Resort Promotes Healthy Lifestyles for Children." Not bad releases, just not up to their usual calibre.

Here, they sent pictures!

Looks fab. Toy Story Land will open to park guests inside Shanghai Disney Resort at 1 pm on April 26, after a special ceremony celebrating the park's first major expansion.
