Couple ways to shed some old clothes and books. Saturday's "The Great Sale: Charity Bookfair" sees Creative Collective bring lots of books and second-hand clothes to Kulou's sidewalk on Xiangyang Lu, along with artists, photographers, jewelers, designers, and Belgian waffles. Goes from 1–6pm. Anyone with books to donate can email them on Friday to drop them off ahead of time, or just bring them to the event. Proceeds from the sale go to Shanghai Young Bakers, who help disadvantaged Chinese youth get set up with professional baking careers.
