New Museum: Shanghai Center of Photography

May 29, 2015 | 10:34 Fri
Coming in from our sister site CreativeHunt, yet another new museum just opened in Shanghai. The Shanghai Center of Photography (SCoP) sits on the West Bund, near the Yuz and Long museums. Though both those spaces dwarf this one, Shanghai's first museum dedicated entirely to photography looks quite nice.

Check out CreativeHunt for the full rundown and pictures of the venue. Currently they have a selection of 20th century classics from the collection of Charles Jin Hongwei, with works from the likes of Brassai, Harry Callahan, Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Imogen Cunningham Alfred Eisenstaedt, Philippe Halsman, Lewis Hine, Yousuf Karsh, and Annie Leibovitz.
