The K-Pop Desk: Super Junior Playing Shanghai This Saturday

By Mar 3, 2016 Music
The massive K-Pop act who caused a stampede that resulted in one death when they played at the Shanghai Expo in 2010 are back in town at the Shanghai Grand Stage on Saturday. Apparently it's boy band season, as this comes one week after hordes of screaming teenagers came out for a rather sleepy show by 5 Seconds of Summer at the same venue.

Super Junior are on tour celebrating their 10th anniversary and a double album, Devil, Magic. The S.M. Entertainment signed artists aren't really boys anymore, as several of them have done their mandatory military service.

That's right -- if it ever pops off in the DMZ, it's going down like this.

Anyway, the cheapest tix to the show are 580rmb on Damai, but you might be able to find some for cheaper near the venue. More details in our event listing. Here's one of their new videos, just in case you're on the fence. Still hoping for on an S.H.E show...
