Electric East and One Love Shanghai have a little do on Saturday night that brings in South Rakkas, a crew known to be among the founders of electro-dancehall, a sub-genre that mixes Jamaican reggae and dancehall with electro. They're based out of Florida though the founder guy was born in Jamaica. Their first album came out more than 10 years ago and featured a hall-of-fame of dancehall stars: Beenie Man, Mad Cobra, Elephant Man, Capleton, Mr. Vegas, Sizzla.

This weekend's party has Dennis 'D-Rakkas' Shaw, who is the founder of the crew. He's pretty much a one-man band now, though there were formerly three members. Expect a DJ set made up of trap, hip-hop, moombahton, dancehall,
