Another week, another Shanghai art fair: the inaugural West Bund Art & Design Fair opens to the public this Friday, September 26. It marks the city's fourth fair in as many weeks. Doors open to a VIP crowd today at the West Bund Art Center - close to that massive riverside dome that was once a concrete mixing facility and more recently temporary DAFF digs—for the first half of his artsy endeavor. That takes the form of a five-day fair, ostensibly for collectors only but all yours for 100rmb a ticket. If buying's not your bag, though, the whole shebang reopens on 1 October through 26 October as an exhibition for a rather more affordable 60rmb a pop, or 40rmb when purchasing online.
