Whiskey is a safer investment than stocks, and the owners of the tiny Comet bar -- hidden in an alley on Danshui Lu -- will probably be fine if the market tanks. They stock over a hundred bottles of everything from Evan Williams to rare 30+ year-old single malts in a secret-ish lair that fits maybe 18 people max. They don't do promo -- they don't even have business cards.
