Chair sits at the crossroads of Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese culture, looking somewhat confused, but they got the happy hour and draft beer prices right.
No! Chair is more of a re-brand than a new spot. The building also holds a wine import company called My Wine Club, who recently turned the first floor into this chairless space. So, vino dominates the menu but they also got a chef from overrated Xujiahui Park spot Restaurant Martin to do Spanish cuisine, often involving seafood, and turn out pizzas in the 30–40rmb range.
