The summer slowdown is a myth -- here's some new bookings and upcoming shows. On Thursday, August 13, S.T.D. and Arkham are bringing in German maximal techno / booty bass producer Boys Noize again, plus a couple cats from his label, DJEDJOTRONIC, and Housemeister. This is in celebration of ten years of Boys Noize Records. Stay tuned for tickets.
And in other, non–S.T.D. bookings, word on the streets is that dirty south / true-trap-not-appropriated-trap producer Lex Luger, who makes beats for Juicy J, Waka Flocka Flame, and Gucci Mane will perform here in September. Also, DFA disco duo Holy Ghost will return on August 5 at Le Baron. Anyone remember that Vitamin Water party they played like five years ago?
