And here's good news.
S.T.D. are bringing Los Angeles singer / rapper / drummer Anderson .Paak -- the dude who sang on six tracks on the Straight Outta Compton soundtrack, released two LPs of pure heat, and got signed to Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, after being down and out just a few years ago -- to Shanghai on Sept 27 at Mao Livehouse, followed by Little Bar in Chengdu on September 28.
His second album of R&B, funk, hip hop, and neo-soul, Malibu is gonna end up on a lot of top ten lists this year. It's a great soundtrack for this weather we're having -- give it a listen. .Paak is also bringing his band, The Free Nationals. You can hear them play a "Tiny Desk Concert" on NPR.
