This is pretty big. Although English / foreign language books comprise just a small part of the fair, they'll still have lots to browse (plus, kids books in Chinese are a good way to study). Over 500 exhibitors from around the globe are expected to attend, and there's British, German and Nordic pavilions with original children's books, magazines, and more from large publishing houses in those countries (Oxford, Penguin, etc). The main focus is on cartoons and illustrations -- lots to look at even if you can't understand the words.
They also have quite a few talks and seminars, delivered by speakers from the domestic and foreign publishing industry. Here's the schedule for that. Looks like a solid series for parents, educators and professionals that work in publishing.
The fair is free but you'll need to register on their official website. Our advice is to go on the last day, when they'll have more original books for sale and the "professional area" is open to the public.
