Fans of bone-crushing mutant American sports action take note - Jerry Rice, one of the greatest NFL wide receivers ever, is hanging out at Luwan Stadium this weekend. If you don't know Rice, he's got three Super Bowl rings from his fifteen year stint with the San Francisco 49ers and also played for the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks. He was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2010.

Rice is sure to be a big hit in China...

He's in town for NFL Home Field, where he's doing American football clinics with the youth from 1-4.30pm on Saturday. Participation in that is invite only, but anyone can come hang out and watch. Caliburger and Big Bamboo are there slinging food and 20rmb beers as well. There's some local flag-football semi-final games on after the clinics too.

Jerry's back on Sunday, ready to autograph your balls or whatever else you bring from 1-2pm. That's free and the whole event goes from 11am-8pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The NFL did something similar last year when they brought Joe Montana. More details.
